Sometimes you come across something so different that you just have to share it… Well here’s something you don’t see everyday. A couple playing Tchaikovsky on wine glasses!  OK so they call this contraption a “glass harp”… We still like the idea of an indiscriminate row of wine glasses filled with a nice light pinot grigio. 🙂

Since the holiday’s are right behind us, we thought it appropriate to share GlassDuo’s rendition of Sugar Plum Fairy by Tchaikovsky.

About GlassDuo

GlassDuo was founded by Anna and Arkadiusz Szafraniec from Poland.  Some time ago, being charmed with the sound of musical glasses, they abandoned their places in the symphony orchestra in Gdansk and started to realize their own idea of performing.

Today the Szafraniecs play the glass harp alone, as well as with other musicians. They’ve successfully performed with string quartets and various chamber ensembles all over the world.
